Azores Wedding Websites ("we") builds wedding websites for couples, offered through wedding planners and vendors. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to be removed.

What we collect, and from where

Enquiry forms on Facebook and Instagram. When you fill in one of our lead forms on Meta's platforms, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, and your answers to the form's questions, such as how many weddings you plan each year.
Email, messages and calls. Anything you send us when you get in touch, and notes we make about the conversation.
The website brief. When a couple's site is being built, the couple or their planner gives us the content for it: names, dates, venues, story, photographs, travel details, registry information and RSVP settings.
RSVPs on a couple's website. Guests who reply on a site we built give the couple their name, attendance, meal choice and any notes. That information belongs to the couple. We hold it on their behalf and hand it to them and, where the couple has agreed, to their planner.
This website. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers on azoresweddingwebsites.com. Our host keeps ordinary server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry and talk with you about working together.
To build, host and update the website you or your planner asked for.
To collect RSVPs for the couple and give them their guest list.
To send occasional messages about our service to planners and vendors who have enquired. You can opt out at any time by replying.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We use a small number of service providers to run the business, who process data on our instructions: Meta (the lead forms), Google Workspace (email and documents), Netlify (website hosting), Telnyx (phone and text messages), and a payments provider for registry gifts where a couple has enabled cash funds. A couple's guest information is shared with that couple and, where they have agreed, their planner, and with nobody else.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for up to two years after our last contact. A couple's website content and RSVP data are kept for the life of the site, which runs through the wedding and twelve months after unless extended, and are deleted within sixty days of the site coming down or on request.

Your choices

Email jourdan@azoresweddingwebsites.com to see what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to stop hearing from us. We answer within ten business days. Guests wanting their RSVP changed or removed should contact the couple or their planner, who control that site.

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, other than a guest's name and meal choice entered by an adult on an RSVP.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new effective date.
